Information may be used to answer enquiries, provide course or project information, create and secure learner accounts, administer enrollments, assign courses, maintain progress and certificate records, provide support, manage corporate/project engagements, prevent misuse, communicate service-related updates, and meet applicable administrative or legal obligations.
4. Notice and consent
Where Trainopedia asks you to submit personal information, the form or relevant interaction explains the purpose for which the information is required. Information is limited to what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
Enquiry forms include a consent acknowledgement linking to this Privacy Policy. Consent for optional marketing communication, if introduced later, will be kept separate from information required to respond to an enquiry or provide a purchased service.
5. Data rights and withdrawal of consent
Subject to applicable law and the nature of the record, you may contact Trainopedia to request correction of inaccurate information, ask how your information is being used, request deletion or restriction where appropriate, or withdraw consent for processing that is based on consent.
Withdrawal of consent does not automatically require Trainopedia to delete information that must reasonably be retained for a completed transaction, certificate verification, security, contractual administration, accounting or legal requirements.
6. Privacy questions and grievance handling
Privacy requests and grievances can be sent to [email protected]. Please provide enough information for Trainopedia to identify the relevant account, enquiry or transaction. Trainopedia will acknowledge and review genuine requests within a reasonable period and may ask for identity verification before making account-level changes.
7. Learner accounts and security
Learner credentials are personal and must be kept confidential. Trainopedia maintains login/security records, course assignments, progress, account status and certificate information to operate the learner portal and detect misuse. Access may be restricted if unauthorized sharing or suspicious activity is identified.
8. Service providers and data sharing
Trainopedia does not sell personal information. Information may be shared where reasonably necessary with providers supporting hosting, email, payment processing, LMS/video delivery, analytics, security or project delivery, or where disclosure is required under applicable law. Third-party providers have their own privacy terms.
9. Hosting and cross-border processing
Some hosting, email, cloud, LMS, analytics or payment providers may process information using infrastructure located outside the user's state or country. Trainopedia selects providers and configures transfers in accordance with applicable requirements and will update this policy when relevant providers change.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies are used for learner login sessions, security and basic site operation. Non-essential analytics, advertising or marketing cookies are not activated without the appropriate notice and consent mechanism where required. See the Cookie Policy.
11. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, including learner/certificate records, accounting, contractual administration, engineering project records, security, dispute handling or legal obligations. Different record types may have different retention periods.
12. Children and minors
Trainopedia's professional engineering training is primarily intended for learners who can lawfully enter the relevant enrollment arrangement. Where the learner cannot independently provide the required legal consent, appropriate parent/guardian authorization may be required before enrollment or account creation.
13. Security and incident response
Trainopedia uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information being handled, including access controls and secure authentication for learner accounts. If a security incident materially affects personal information, Trainopedia will assess and handle notification obligations in accordance with applicable requirements.
14. Policy updates
This policy may be updated as Trainopedia adds a payment gateway, analytics, CRM, WhatsApp, new LMS/video tools or other services. The latest version will be published with an updated date.
Please include the relevant enrollment, account, transaction or project reference where applicable.
